"Established on April 22, 1981, Halsiddanath Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane Ltd. (HSSKL) in Nipani, Karnataka, started as a 1250 TCD sugar factory. Upgraded to 3500 TCD in 2017-2018, HSSKL has been a hub of innovation. The cooperative mill, with a 15 MW co-generation plant, is now advancing into ethanol production under the central government's EBP scheme. In response to the challenges posed by increased sugarcane production, HSSKL is on a progressive path. The Area of operational of the sugar factory has been spared over 12,500 Hectares in Nipani Taluka The total Membership of the sugar factory is 24429 as on 31-3-2015. On achieving best consistent working result from 1991-92. Our sugar factory has been selected in the year 1993-94 for the installation of Ultra Modern Machinery by Sugar Technology Mission, Govt. of India.
